At Bythos Press, we’re always on the lookout for compelling stories, thought-provoking essays, and visually stunning artworks that resonate with our mission to delve deep into the essence of our existence and the world around us. If you believe your work fits our ethos, we welcome your submissions according to the guidelines below:

For Fiction Writers

What to Include: Your submission should comprise a cover letter, the first chapter of your manuscript, and a concise synopsis that captures the essence of your story.

Cover Letter Essentials: Make sure to specify the genre, total word count of your manuscript, and a brief introduction of yourself in your cover letter.

For Illustrators and Picture Book Creators

Submission Requirements: If you’re submitting a picture book manuscript, please include a short query letter and the complete manuscript text. You can submit up to three picture book manuscripts simultaneously, all within a single query.

For Illustrators: Illustrations are not mandatory for picture book texts. However, if you’re an illustrator or seeking representation for your artwork, include links to your online portfolio or a digital dummy of your work.

For Non-Fiction Authors

Proposal Package: Submit a detailed non-fiction proposal that includes a query letter and a sample chapter. Your proposal should outline the scope, objective, and unique aspects of your work, alongside any credentials that support your authority on the subject matter.

General Submission Notes

Format: Please send all text submissions in a standard, readable format (e.g., PDF, DOCX) via email. For large files or multimedia components, include a direct link to an accessible online platform (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox).

Contact Information: Ensure your name, email address, and phone number are included on the first page of your document or within your email.

Response Time: Due to the volume of submissions we receive, our review process may take some time. We appreciate your patience and will respond to your submission as soon as possible.
